"They Don't Like Me".......So what!

First things first, we're not here to be liked; however, that is NOT a license to be mean and nasty. We are still expected to exhibit every fruit of the spirit to the best of our ability. Saints, we have to get this area right because people not liking us for whatever reason (make the reason causeless) shouldn't be o.ur concern. Imagine if Jesus took the time to consider how many people didn't like Him during His earthly mission? We'd be a mess right now if He did because caring that much about what others think becomes consuming...in a very unhealthy way. That's not why we're here! We're here to be salt and light! Not everyone likes salt and not everyone likes light. Not our concern though - that's why we're here!

Secondly, people not liking us only stops us from doing what we're called to do IF we let it stop us. See how this works? There's a beautiful harvest before us, Saints. We have a responsibility as children of a higher Kingdom to be fishers of men and then to disciple those men so that they might become fishers too. The Great Commission. That's our mission. Let's make sure we're sticking to it! xoxo
