Don't Give Up....

I know so many people who have great stories residing on the inside of them. Some of them have even taken the leap of faith to get them out. I think the most challenging part is starting. Then once you start, the next challenging step is to keep going when the critiquing starts. Yes, critiquing will come and it's necessary. How critiquing happens is just as vital though. Here's my advice through all of it, stick to what you believe in. Write it the way God gave it to 'you'. Yes someone else in the craft may do it differently and so it appears that it's the better way, but stay authentic to who 'you are'. Take the tips (take ALL the tips), but don't allow someone else's tips to make you feel like what you have to offer isn't good enough because you're not pouring it out their way. You're not them. You have a very specific and unique way in which you show up in the earth. Stay true to that. Trust YOU!! You do have a say in the matter, ya know. It's absolutely ok to say no to the critique and yes to what you've been given. Stay the course. Be encouraged. Keep writing! xoxo
