Only What You Do For Christ Will Last!

No truer words have been spoken. I've become more and more mindful of that as I sit and think about exactly what God has called and created me to do in the earth:

*Share the Gospel - keep it unadulterated

*Teach through writing - change the negative narratives

*Speak from experience - stay true to who I am

*Stick to the works my hands are called to - stay focused, watch out for the distractions.

At the end of this life, our desire should be to hear God say, 'Job well done thy good and faithful servant', but He will only say that if what we're doing truly brings Him the honor and the glory - privately and publicly! Read that again! Our private life matters just as much as our public life. Honestly, it may matter more! It's easy to keep performing before the crowd especially if they're hallowing our name, but what about when no one's watching....but One? Are our hearts still set aflame at the thought of simply pleasing God alone? That's a thought to sit with, isn't it? Let us sit with it. Really think about it. A time is coming where it'll really show why we do what we do and for whom. Remember, only what we do for Christ will last. *Eternity is a long time* xo
